The Merchants of Whitefish Bay, in coordination with the Village of Whitefish Bay and the Whitefish Bay Police Department, have decided not to hold the 2021 Holiday Stroll Parade scheduled for Friday, November 26 in light of the tragic events in Waukesha. In addition, the Tree Lighting Ceremony and other non-parade activities occurring as part of the Holiday Stroll event have been postponed until a future date/time to-be-determined in December.
The Whitefish Bay Business Improvement District (BID) is deeply saddened by the events in Waukesha and, out of respect for our grieving community, unanimously made this decision. Rather, we encourage Village residents and visitors to make a donation to the United for Waukesha Community Fund (information below) and visit Silver Spring Drive throughout December for a number of holiday activities.
The Silver Spring Drive Ice Sculpture Demonstration and Ice Sculpture Crawl will still occur on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Enjoy an ice sculpture demonstration and twenty amazing ice sculptures on display along Silver Spring Drive starting from High Brow Boutique and finishing at Keller Williams. Following the Ice Sculpture Demonstration a visit with Santa will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. near Consaul Commons.
