Notice! We Energies is planning a needed power outage in Klode Park that will affect the North Shore Water Commission raw water intake pump building located at the Klode Park beach/bluff area on Lake Michigan.
To supply power to this critical raw water pumping station, Village staff are working with the North Shore Water Commission to install a portable generator in the Klode Park parking lot either late Wednesday, October 16 or early Thursday, October 17, 2019.
The generator is expected to be operated until either late Friday or into Saturday to allow for WE Energies crews to completed this needed power supply line work. The generator to be used is designed to muffle its operating noise. In addition, the Village will be adding noise abatement shielding adjacent to the generator.
