The Department of Public Works recently installed yellow delineator posts at two intersections in the Village. These delineators are a semi-permanent installation that narrows traffic lane width, which inherently encourages motorists to slow down as they pass through a school zone. In addition, the delineator posts shorten crosswalk distance and allows for improved sightlines between pedestrians and motorists before pedestrians cross the street.
